Thank you!  That's exactly the kind of information I am looking for.

Have you considered doing a couple of sculpting tutorials?

Happy to help!  I don't have time to teach others to sculpt, too busy learning how myself. :D

Well, your work is inspiring and if you ever decide to do a tutorial it would be most welcome.

Do you print the orthos at scale and use those as your template?

Yes, I do print the orthos at scale and use them as my template, easiest most precise way to do it.

However you do it, it's amazing.

I frankly went into this one just thinking I'll help out the community and be done with it; totally happy with the current sculpt and now, well I'll just have to replace and sell off the four Flashmen I have now.
Epitaph on an Army of Mercenaries

These, in the day when heaven was falling,      Their shoulders held the sky suspended;
The hour when earth's foundations fled,         They stood, and earth's foundations stay;
Followed their mercenary calling,               What God abandoned, these defended,
And took their wages, and are dead.             And saved the sum of things for pay.

My biggest dislike of the original Flashman sculpt was the lack of elbow articulation on the arms.  The pics showing the new arms look fantastic and I can't wait to pick up a couple of these new Flashman.

I am finally caught up from my backlog of emails and side projects. So tomorrow I will finally send out the Flashman credit vouchers, I thought I could have done it while I was at my in-laws over the weekend but that did not happen.

That pose is fantastic. I like how it looks like it's wading into battle. Now I really can't wait to get one. Between the  Highlander, Flashman, and Gun, 4th quarter releases can't get here soon enough.
Why not Zoidberg?

Behrle, can you tell us what kind of joints the elbows are? I'm curious how posable the lower arm positions will be.

Arms are three pieces: Shoulder, Upper Arm and Lower Arm.  The shoulder has a ball and socket joint that fits into the torso and will rotate 360*.  It has a socket that the Upper arm fits into that will allow at least 180* or more of rotation depending on the shoulder position.  The Lower Arm has a pin and socket joint in it that will allow 360* of rotation depending on the position of the two other Arm pieces.  In other words LOTS of range of motion throughout.
