New Frontend to IWM is now up and running
« on: 15 September 2015, 21:50:18 »
Just wanted to say that the new frontend and future home of the online store is now up and running. Still have a lot of work to do in coming months such ad adjustments, new features, user registration, and the biggest thing the online store. The old frontend in the /d/ folder will be retired by the end of the month. All new IWM announcements will come through the the frontend, Iron Wind Metals.

Starting tomorrow I will start to add new product to the online store. stay tuned....

I'm just getting a vast expanse of white. Had to refresh about five times before it loaded. New site and all.

I thought all forum users were adept at overuse of F5  :)

Certainly a fresh clean look.

That might be what some people will need to do to see th new site. Before there was just a index page that forwarded users to /d/ the old Frontend.

Is that NEW User Registration?  If we were already registered, do we have to do it again, or did it all "transfer over"?  Will there be any problems for those of us that had "Store Credit" from the Fan Funding?   ???
To me, Repros are 100% Wrong, and there's NO  room for me to give ground on this subject. I'm not just an Immovable Object on this, I'm THE Immovable Object. 3D Prints are just 3D Repros.

Something to bear in Mind. Defending the BT IP is Frowned upon here.

Due to the time the store has been around and that there is no migration tool for the store software to the new frontend, everyone will need to create a new account when we are ready. For those that still have store credit the remaining balance at the time of the old store closing will be offered on the new store.

Nice and clean, I like it.  I'm not going to lie, though, I miss the spider-like i W M that was behind the words.

A new logo is still on the list to do, just need to get the ball rolling on the website part.

I did forget to mention that the new Frontend theme is also a responsive template so if you view the website on your smart phone it will look different. I also make use of a different IWM logo that has the spider like IWM in background.

Is there a link that on the new front that goes directly to the LAM directions?  I found old link on the forums but curious if there is something set up with the new front that is more easily accessible?

I think the Purchase Faction Mech Packs based on RAT's at 20% off (future link) is interesting. The RATs where one my battletech groups draws there mech choices from usually.

Is anyone else having problems logging into the store?  It doesn't like my password, won't send me a new one, and won't let me set up a new account.

I think I know what is wrong and Melissa sent me your email about the issue. I wanted to look at last night but after dinner I went to sleep. For some reason was really tired yesterday. I will look at it after work tonight.
