« on: 23 April 2011, 07:09:11 »

They are about 1/2 the size and should use less than 1/4 of the material.

Yes, there are just 2 boxes yet in Battleforce scale.

Now you have products in mechscale, mapscale, BF-scale and (if you want to count that) AT2 scale.

I hope Battleforce scale will be successful.  I really want everything in that scale.

Armorcast Atlas, Museum Scale Atlas, 1st sculpt Atlas, 2nd Sculpt Atlas, 3rd sculpt Atlas, Plastech Atlas, Beginner's Set Atlas, Introductory Box Set plastic Atlas...  Adding a Battleforce-scale Atlas isn't that big a deal.

They are about 1/2 the size and should use less than 1/4 of the material.

If it's half the size, it should use 1/8 the material, not 1/4. Size is reduced in three dimensions, not two.

And looking just to the pictures at the box there isn't really one battleforce scale. There are minis 'smaller than usual in a size good to handle with battleforce'. But there is no real scale between them.

Are they solid one piece casts or are they little bits? I Like the scale & look of the mini's. Comprable to proto mechs in size is my guess.

Most are single-piece casts, but a few have the arms as separate pieces.  Mad Cat, Fenris, Shadowcat, a couple others.

Don't worry fellas, with IWM's scaling slide, in a few years from now these will all be the regular battlemech scale we have today.

Of course the battlemech scale figures will be the size of Barbies, but hey, we'll love em just the same.

:P :P :P LOL

Wow I never followed Battle force much before but now I am curious to see these smaller minis.
I tried to do a search for them but I didn't find any miniatures. Is there a place I can go to see
what they look like?  I saw they have some nice mechs to choose from though
