And I'll definitely throw money at either the Uni or Buster if they're picked.

Those of us on the 8P train,

a) all OK with NOT having two-handed weapon grips?
b) How many thinking already of subbing them for 'normal' Quickdraws ;)

W.

I can live with "a", but I also wonder if there is a solution to be had with alternate poses, like aiming the weapon to the side across the body, rather than straight ahead.

Mostly though, I just think it's kinda cool looking.

like aiming the weapon to the side across the body, rather than straight ahead.

Two problems with that, the artwork shows a very large 'ammo box' hanging underslung on the right arm, that box prevents the arm from bending toward the body (I already had to drastically size the box width down just to get it to appear there). Some of the other weapons wouldn't have the ammo box and might work, but that would mean the RAC for one couldn't be swapped in.

The other (minor) issue is that the torso fixed cockpit makes it look like the 'Mech is staring straight ahead, to aim the weapon the pilot would be looking out the side windows. Not a deal breaker but it does sort of fly in the face of pleasing aesthetics. :)

We're talking about the Quickdraw. Mr. Aesthetics left the building some decades before ... ;)

Stinger has been! There's some definite leads by far and some total duds...my poor Solaris VII 'Mechs.

Speck has been working on a move into a new house so he might be slow to keep this rolling.

Thanks for all the votes! (Love to see them keep coming.)

Ya know...it's odd, I haven't been able to get on for a while due to the site being down...as well as being just busy, but I did have a thought about why the Hellspawn wasn't voted for a resculpt. Now...it's been suggested! LOL

Speck...am I able to use any pledge money I would offer towards my business purchases? If so...I'd fund whole minis myself.

As far as the list goes...

From Dak's List...
Von Rohrs
Bellerophon
Volkh

I'd really like the Primitive Wolverine but others are long over due.

Ok, honesty time: I actually thought it would either be cruel to IWM to have them try to mold the Porcupine in a sane number of parts, or cruel to the fans to have to install all those spikes!

Also, in my case at least, I didn't vote for those mechs entirely because I wouldn't play with them much. It had nothing to do with the quality or aesthetics of the sculpt.

Unfortunately for the sculptors, I have to agree with sadlerbw. I have one - exactly one - Solaris VII mini.

Would rather see the Anzu in print - them I'll use, for example. But I can understand the appeal to the sculptors.

So, to comment on this, the Anzu was a TRO released mini with decent appeal. We can likely expect to see it as a distribution mini in the future. All of these proposed sculpts are not going to be in distribution, but online only. Hence why they need fan funding. The Anzu will not need fan funding at all...
