Indeed! But would you split vertically, on a 'Mech?

Hey I just ran across DarthPandaNL's work on Deviantart and thought someone may find it useful. Sorry about the massive size, for some reason I can't get the images to shrink down to something more reasonable.

You bought the box set and are ready to expand your BT experience. Now what? (Thanks Sartis!)

A buddy painted this up for me, based on MW4:Mercs camo. Sorry the photo doesn't do it justice

I based my avatar mini on one of the Crusader images from the box set.   I can't find the original, but there is a model kit that displays the scheme.  I'm thinking of doing a mercenary company based on this scheme.

I was inspired by Darth Bobo from "Tripping the Rift".

Reminds me alot of the Domon-kun character as well. Have a lance of stubby mechs painted brown with the red and white teeth.

As an update to this, having opportunity to get weird and wacky has led to using Mandarin Fish, Mantis Shrimp, and a rooster as the starting points for several 'Mechs. I've also considered various fruits, but haven't gotten to that.

Amalor Myrnyx (RIP) did a lovely mini in the colours of the monarch butterfly. Unfortunately we'll never know if he'd seen Dr. Venture.

The Lyran Guard scheme done in different colours looks sharp. I have a vanity regiment in brown with green stripe - not only martial, but saves on camo paint.

I was inspired by Darth Bobo from "Tripping the Rift".

As the father of two young daughters, I can attest that the paint scheme is reminiscent of the Kakamora from Moana (coconut bandits).

They look great!

I've been thinking that would be good for a tripod!
