When the Word attacked Buenos Aires, even old soldiers have duties...

The Word of Blake's Jihad was perhaps the most indiscriminate series of attacks since the First Succession War, sparing neither citizen nor soldier. A retired soldier learns there are some threats you can't defend against.

This one is likely to be depressing.  Buenos Aires was largely depopulated by a 'magic bullet' bio weapon.
To the utmost!

Spot on. It's still a good story though.

Yes, it is sad, but a good story.

Nevertheless, Buenos Aires seems to be recovered. Given FM: 3085 the world is listed among the habitable worlds and the Second Canopian Cuirassiers are stationed here.

I think you misread/misremember that. They were stationed there. The Second is posted on Detroit in 3085. And Buenos Aires doesn't appear on the maps.

I misread.
So Buenos Aires is a "Lost World", is not it?
