Hauptmann Kiah Lorrian Franks
Colonel Euron Greyjoy

Both individually receive a hand delivered, hand calligraphed envelopes addressed to you containing smooth watercolor watermarked paper hand calligraphed in your native tongue and in Japanese kanji printed over a brush painting of wind blowing through a bamboo stand; it reads
The NPO Veterans Association would like the pleasure of your company. You and a guest are cordially required to attend The Waterfront Gala Ball promptly at eight in the evening in the Grand Ballroom of the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, at 900 Vancouver Way, Yousai, in Formal Attire for cocktails, hors d'oevres, pleasant conversation and dancing on the thirtieth of December.

Were we expecting these invitations, I forget?

Expecting them, no

The invitations went out to only the Commanding and Executive Officers of Chiji no Chian Butai {Governors Security Force} for themselves and a single guest.

the choice of guest is open to multiple alternatives

there will be a very high level of security at the event, no bodyguards, no firearms or explosives, no photos

Well, he DOES need to have some idea when the parties are taking place, and that the merc commanders will be invited...

Hi-

I believe that the final ID he's been using is Tai-i Neville Rhodes of the Musashi household guard.  (If he's cited a different first name please remind me, I don't think he has and I can't find any reference to one in my records...)

Thanks!
John

Convoy Escort is the mission of the day. Our local forces will be keeping an eye on a convoy of heavy trucks from Samar to a location outside of the city. They will then turn over the convoy to a waiting security force.

You will provide escort to the convoy each unit will send 1 Mech, 1 armor and 1 infantry unit as part of the security force.

Nejiro Public Radio
3067 December 6

In a special session of Parliament, a supplemental appropriation bill was successfully passed after only a week of negotiations, for the amount of 500 million Ryu to augment the defense budget to improve the equipment and personnel of both the Nejiro Militia and the Ichizoku no Minpei. Also passed as part of the bill, is a temporary increase to the funds the Ichizoku are required, by the Founders Agreement, to provide from their coffers to outfit and train their militias. The bill will raise this percentage by another two percent for at least the next two years. The Governor's militia audit has so far only investigated five Ichizoku no Minpei, and only two were up to the standards set forth in the Founders Agreement, none were up to modern standards of warfare. In reaction the Governor has asked for the assistance of the Civil Service Ministry to audit the books of all Ichizoku that do not meet the standards set forth in the Founders Agreement, and a series of fines have been set for those not in compliance. The Governor has also requested an increase in production from the entire defense industry of an additional 25-75% output. The Strategic Defense Institute declined our request on the specifics of the audit and the compliance of the individual Ichizoku, and only replied a report would be published at the conclusion of their efforts.
