(Answered) Cargo space being used as a personal living space in the mech's head

I Have had it in the past where a gm allowed for me to have a half ton personal living space in the head, with the idea that it basically makes it far easier to deal with life in the field, especially with extended operations. I would still be able to carry a passenger, but I am not too sure how the rules would work for it with the various updates that have gone through ( this was originally done shortly after the clans came out. ( late 80's/early 90s... ) are there any rules that would cover this kind of thing?

Sounds like an insulated cargo container (p. 239, Techmanual). it would weigh 1 ton, allow for 870 kilos of storage, and occupy 1 slot, which would be placed in the head.
This will be moved to the TechManual forum shortly. Cheers.
