Not getting notification of any kind.

The website is not sending me notifications of personal messages or of marked threads.  In my personal settings, it says "You aren't receiving notifications on any boards right now."  How do I fix this?

If you're using Gmail then your notification emails may simply end up in the spam order - since a year or so ago, they seem to trigger the spam criteria in the Google system. I've retrieved one of the emails, sent a reply email to the stated adress to whitelist it, and ever since I'm receiving my PM notifications again.

Under Profile/Settings, note that "notification" refers to emails, not highlighting recent posts.

This isn't a g-mail account.
When I click "notify" at the top of a thread, isn't it supposed to send me an email whenever someone posts in the thread?
Isn't it supposed to notify me of personal messages as it has traditionally done?
