However... why not go with a Laser AMS? This prevents ammo explosions. I believe they are allowed gear in the era you have them being produced. Very little heat issue if used well, as well.

Another thing could be to put electronics in there instead? Maybe half the production gets Beagle and the other half gets Guardian?

I didn't think the Laser AMS was available in 3058, but I could be wrong.

I considered the idea of an AP or ECM over the TC, but thought at the time that the COMmies might've chosen the latter instead. May just make a variant of it too though. :D
