Texas Klasse "Falcon's Nest"
« on: 03 November 2017, 08:53:18 »
This mini have waited for a long time while i had to decide how to paint. There are not many Texas around that look like the 2750er art - at least not at the modern timeline. There is no Texas left in the fleets of the houses, Comstar or WoB.
But thanks to the entry in "1st Somerset Strikers" there is still one active Texas in the ranks of the clans that looks like the old artwork: The Falcons Nest.

So while i'm not a fan of that clan or like their fleet camo, that was the obvious choice to paint my mini.  ;)

I made a shot with an older paintjob of the more modern 3057 artwork to compare both sculpts. While the 2750 is more fragile i like it much more.

Good on you for choosing the real Texas. The 3057 model is just butt-ugly, but you've done a good job with the real one. Even if you did give it to the Flacons. ;)
