Yep, Commando (Says there in the file name) belonging to the 15th AG, which I think might be Alliance Guards AKA the 10th FedCom Corp

Sweet, origin stories for Carlyle's Commandos.

Though also not sweet... that's gonna drive the price up...  :'(

Where was MechCon. Might be worth it if Battletech has a large footprint there.

Just tossing this here. (For short CGL presentation on MechCon 2017)

Beginner's Box first.  Full Box Set second.
All new maps, part of series of new maps being made available.
Maps (not in box set, part of series) to include those that match fiction being released.  So read about battle, play out the battle. A new campaign book was briefly mentioned as part of this.
Both box sets have new short stories from Bill Keith about Grayson Carlyle's father (2950?)

Emphasis mine, because I will fight tooth and nail to get a copy of both box sets just for this reason alone.

I don't care about the sculpts or maps, which are awesome, I will always find a reason to get my hands on new William H. Keith, Jr. BattleTech material.

Also, I gotta say it again, 'dat Commando.

I think the middle/late 2900s would be an interesting alternative to existing 3025 material, but 2950 would have to be Grayson's grandfather. There's no way Durant Carlyle was 95 years old on Trellwan.

Image 2 of 3, this is the first of 2 maps/double sided included in the BIG BOX SET

Good job by the artist. You can see hills at a glance, even when there's trees on them, and heavy woods look distinguishable from (darker and denser than) light woods too.

Colby's Commandos is what it says on the booklet in the video.
"Durant Caryle's origin story, Grayson's father", is what Randall says.
Perhaps it's both.  It sounds like a series, so perhaps it starts in 2950 with a Colby and eventually becomes Durant as detailing where Carlyle's Commandos come from?

2950 is just meant as a round era number, not a literal year for it.

@Adrian Gideon = So can we take it that the crew have found a way to bring back mapsheets? Or is it just new mapsheets in the box sets?

Also...anyway we can pre-order the box sets? :D :D (Just trying to throw money at you guys. XD)

So, given that the GoAC box art was originally shown as the cover art for CM:Davion, I'm going to go ahead and guess that the beginners box has art that was originally slated for CM:Steiner. Yes? No?

Thats the plan, but I can’t say anything definite yet.

the beginner box art was repurposed from…the beginner box art. Originally it depicted Duke Hassid Ricol, now it has one of his minions in a Griffin.

No. No dates.

CGL does not publish dates until product has hit NA distribution (eg ship from China has unloaded in na). They will give some ballparks, such as spring 2018.

The 9 mech sculpts are done, prototypes, and finalized.
The maps are made, and getting final checks and approvals
The stories are likely done.

Production takes a couple months, then a month or two for shipping. So if they approved it tomorrow it would still be spring 2018. To give you an idea how close they are.
No-Dachi has a counter-argument. Nothing further? Ok.

I'd be happy if Coming Attractions was updated.  It has never gave us dates.

EDIT: i'm not trying to be snarky or mean about making that remark.  I am very grateful to hearing news about things coming along for CGL.
