(Answered) Linked Scenarios Tables

Strategic Operations p.49

I have been looking at the Battle and Raid tables for linked scenarios and I believe that they are incorrect.  The only way to get a Base Attack scenario is for the attacker to have a campaign score of +5 or greater and the defender to have a campaign score of -5 or less.  If the players had the scores during the order writing phase, the difference in scores is 10.  This would be an automatic win for the attacker based on the third campaign victory condition of outperforming the opposition.

The +5/-5 error would actually apply to both tables.  In any case where the players have scores of +5/-5 no battle would take place.  I believe that both tables should end at scores of +4.5/-4.5 and have the scenarios readjusted accordingly.  I am posting this both here and in the errata section.  If I am incorrect could someone please explain where I am mistaken.

Thank you.

Thank you, we'll evaluate this as errata. We don't have an answer now.

Well, it's been a while and I was wondering if there has been any progress on this.

Sorry: we're kind of swamped for the moment with Total Warfare errata and trying to get it out the door in time for the deadline, and so other books are taking a back seat.  My apologies.  I promise it will be examined as soon as we get TW out.

Sorry, and thanks for your patience.  I've begun the next SO errata work, and this will be the first question answered.  Give us just a few more weeks.

You are correct.  The table should read:

<-4.5 / -4 to -1 / -0.5 to 0.5 / 1 to 4 / 4.5+
