Looking for Alpha Strike players in Seattle area. I have the miniatures, the heavy metal, and the heroscape board but no mechwarriors. I know you're around here somewhere!

I am hosting another Battletech game on November 8th @ 1pm. just north of Seattle in Lake Stevens. We've had a couple of players from this board at the last few and we were very happy to game with them. Let's keep that streak going and get some more new folks at the games. Saturday's game was well done by both players and the GM. The campaign is progressing nicely.

We decided as a group to have 2 games a month for the summer at least. 1 campaign and 1 for shits and giggles. Look for a lot of open invitations on here.

I do not host any games with any of the jihad "stuff" in it but you are MORE THAN WELCOME to join us for any of our campaign gammes or the just for fun games. O0 Current campaign is set in 3067 and at it's end the next one will be either set in 3047 or 3053.

We do also have free for all type games as often as we can gather folks up. Solaris or small lance/lance/lance type fun quick games.

The Puget sound area battletech group will be hosting a battletech con in Tacoma in early November. We'll be doing the clan invasion battle for Luthien.
It's a 3 day battletech con starting Friday night and ending with a big game Sunday.

January game will be the conclusion to the 2015 campaign where the mercs will attack the fortress city for control of the planet! This game will be on the 23rd and may involve 2 separate dual table setups to get both attack points for the city represented.

Not sure if you're still interested in Alpha Strike or if you'll see this, but I'm just getting into Alpha Strike and I'm pretty excited about finding some players in my area. There's a lot of great venues I can recommend, both on the east side and in Seattle proper. Let me know if you're interested because I'm always willing to play more stomp stomp robots.

This summer have an RTV project to duplicate some of the out of production buildings.

We play on a 6x6 table with a ton of Geo-Hex and lots of figures.

I'm moving to the Bothell area from the Midwest in June and would be interested in meeting some new people and shaking off 20+ years of rust to play again.

Back in the mid-late 1990's I had run one of the most fun and successful GenCon Battletech Games and had an absolute blast. We had 25 people playing and had 1 winner left after each 4 hour time slot and we had people coming back each year to play again!

A group of us invested in large amounts of Geo-Hex (KR had even sponsored our games) - but we all went our separate directions for school. I'm in the process of tracking it down, so I might even be able to contribute to the playing field at some point.

That being said, I haven't played for a LOOOOOOOONG time!

I suppose I'll keep my eyes on this thread for future opportunities to meet some of you.

We draw players from all over the Puget Sound for our weekly game.
Two from the Maltby area.
Three from greater Seattle.
The player from Federal Way is on hiatus due to work schedule conflicts.
Someone used to drive up from Tacoma. But has since moved to Portland.

Not having played in a long time is not an issue. One player had only played the video games before.

We have a lot of Geo-Hex and hundreds of figures. To start all you need is your own dice unless you want to dig through the house dice bin.

The Puget sound area battletech group, the one I run, is very active with at least 2 games a month. Our members come from as far as Portland Oregon to Vancouver BC.

We have a Facebook group that you can check out and join if you like it's called " Puget Sound area battletech group ".

Hope to see you at the games. We have an Alpha Strike tourney coming up in June on the 12th if you want to see how that is.

We like to rotate game types and AS gives us a chance for some huge games that you couldn't do in one day with standard BT.

We have about 70 players in the group now and are always looking for more :-).

The both have Seattle area battletech Facebook groups, which is usually how they coordinate games.
The Northern group up in Everett is probably better for you, but a number of players are on both Facebook groups, either Remove or Col Hengist can probably steer you to the right place

If that doesn't work I will try to contact the guys from the Everett group for you, they are usually active but may be taking a bit of time off in the summer. 8)
