I don't see any reason why they wouldn't stack.  Nor do I see any reason why you wouldn't take both traits if you are making a face type PC.

You should also take the extaordinary ability score charisma and the increased charisma mutation from the AToW Companion if you really want Devlin Stone mind control level of face man .
