In an ever evolving process of trying to tweak my favorite fighters, I present this experimental
3065 era design for thoughts, opinions, and constructive input.
==========
With the development of the Slayer SL-16B, Schwarze-Ritter Metalwerks has attempted to take an already formidable fighter and improved on it. To remove the ammo-dependency suffered by the original SL-15 model the SL-16B variant replaces the heavy autocannon with both a Small Pulse Laser and a Heavy PPC, and installed a PPC-Capacitor for added punch at opportune moments. The four wing-mounted Medium Lasers have all been replaced by Extended-Range models, and an additional laser was added in each wing. And as a nasty surprise intended to discourage pursuit the rear-mounted Medium Laser has been replace by a pair of Extended-Range Medium Lasers and a Small Pulse Laser. The SL-16B variant utilizes a 320 ExtraLight Fusion Engine fitted with twenty-eight double-capacity heat sinks to help manage the increased heat build-up from the new weapons array. The SL-16B variant retains the the original SL-15's double capacity fuel tank, carrying ten tons of fuel and allowing it to loiter over the battlefield for extended periods of time. The SL-16B's overall armor protection has also been increased.Slayer SL-16BSlayer SL-16B
