Alpha Strike Boxsets of Mechs

I am curious about the 7 or so Box sets of Mechs to Alpha Strike: i.e. the Recon pack, persuit pack etc.

* Are they metal or Plastic

* Are they assembled or do i have to build them myself.

* is the quality good?

* Are they paintable or already painted?

There are 8 Lance Packs (boxes) of plastic assembled minis. They are good quality and are not painted.

It is recommended to wash in dish soap before trying to paint, to ensure that any mould release is removed before painting.

If you use thick pigment paints or a good primer, it doesn't matter too much. But paint without primer you'll want to wash it first.
