What do you see as the primary role/usage for this mech? MRMs usually seem like a poor man's weapon to me, which doesn't really fit with the expensive light engine. Also, a weapon mix that short-ranged usually implies either a fast mech to close the range quickly, or an urban-focused mech. This is definitely not fast, so it's presumably urban, but it doesn't quite have that "urban" feel to it either.

The Katyusha is an old MFUK design that utilized MRMs and multiple MPLs, and though it did jump it didn't do so very far (jump 3).

THIS is simply a take of mine on that older Britannic classic. I envision it as a kind of experimental effort to make the old beast a last line of defense. A kind of stand and hold unit. To aid in this effort it adds the Apollo FCS system to each MRM launcher, and switches out the near useless MPLs for longer ranged and more heat manageable proven MLs. To improve it's durability in this role it also utilizes CASE II and armors both the compact gyro and the light engine that replaced it's original extra light engine. It's quirks also play into the design, adding something new and interesting to an odd looking old monstrosity.

The MFUK Katyusha has never been anyone's first choice for a mech, but it has an interestingly odd enough charm to it that I have added a few to my collection.

Like what you did, especially with the engine replacement that XL was where I got taken out in the few games I've managed to play with it, despite it being one of my favorite miniature sculpts. I even converted a Battledroid mini. with Kodiak arms and spare Longbow launchers.
