I did post a Fan fiction article here along time ago, but however it must have been removed due to time and in-activity. However I am starting up my Fan Fiction concept again, the chronicles of the Refusal War from the point of view of my Clan Jade Falcon (of course
) RP character and his unit, which is expanded and more realistic fiction, based on the missions and fighting of the refusal war
Also I will be writing a prologue starting in Clan Space, Ironhold about my character, and how he gets to officer rank, as well as meeting his Star Captains...
but for now, this is my (first) go, at writing a prelude to the first Chapter " The Blood Red Sands of Colmar". When properly published I will have more incidental, cannon information about things in there too, like briefly explaining things, more emotion, etc...
Any comments, help and suggestions are welcome
Clan Jade Falcon
"The Field Command HQ was set up, the Falcon standard had been raised high, and the warriors were in good spirit. The Dropship looming some 50m away, overshadowing and protecting, shadowing like Turkina herself"
Star Colonel James Pryde, and his officers were set up in the Field Command HQ, for the bidding process. The Batchall had already been started on a much larger scale, by that warden softie Kerensky, which had started this so called "Refusal War". This was not like the proper war rules of engagements that the Clans traditionally practised, and being James's first command, this whole concept of in direct strikes, say uneasy with him and his three Star Captains, of his Cluster command Trinary. The orders of this strike at the wolves, was to disable and possibly capture the local HPG generator, destroy any scouts, capture a local nuclear power plant, that powered the local defence grid, and a near by communications array, all before any alarm messages could be sent to the main Wolf Garrison, that was engaging the bulk of the Falcon Forces on planet.
"I bid a total of a my Command Star, Star Captains: Ben Roshak, Sara Hazen and Marcus Mattlov, begin your bidding. The air was tense.
Ben: I bid down to my heavy assault Star. Easily smash the scouting forces, with minimal damage to my points.
Marcus: No, you need a coordinated hunter killer group, Your star would be not mobile enough. I bid down to my three Courgars, one command Hellbringer, and one Mad Dog, Cougars to quickly harass and neutralise scouts, Hellbringer fire-power and Mad Dog fire support, if we run into that star of Kit-Foxes that the Watch reported in the area.
Pryde: Sara ?
Sara frowned, in deep analytical mode, that is what James liked about her, thinking with her head, not her ego.
Sara: Given Watch reports, and typical scout binaries, which will include mixed forces, mostly very mobile, I bid down my Star to...my command Stormcrow with ECM, and BAP, to gain better intelligence on scouting forces, the defence grid, and that possible enemy Star, while avoiding them, when capturing the HPG generator and the power plant.
Ben cut in rudely: so run and hide ?, be "covert" like a dam Wolf ?
Sara: Since this type of warfare is relatively "new", I am thinking of experimenting with a different bid, to test out new tactics for the rest of this "war", do you not agree that is in the best interests of the Clan, quiaff ?
Ben backed down and crossed his arms like a "child". Glaring at her, James could sense a Circle of Equals coming after the mission.
Sara: As I was saying, my command and ECM Stormcrow, a fast jumper perhaps a Kit Fox, so to fall in quickly behind the scouts lines, to create confusion from behind, and three points of Elementals, two points to assist mech forces, and the other to disable turrets, and capture objectives quickly while engagement is in process. Nice and Quick.
James: You all raise very valid bids. However I have decided. Star Captain Sara's Star will conduct the primary mission, and my command Star will be in reserve, the honour is yours Star Captain.
He nodded to Sara.
Star Captains Ben, and Marcus, form up on me. Deployment in 20...
As James walked to his desert painted Hellbringer, there was a feeling in his gut that, these type of missions and this "war" were going to run with blood. Just like the red sands of Colmar, beneath his feet as he walked to "Jimmy" his Hellbringer...
