Ditch all the lasers, put the flamer back, upgrade the ER PPC to a heavy PPC and keep the capacitor.

The jump jets are always a nice touch. :)

I might also recommend ditching a heat sink to mount a C3 slave - on Solaris your stable manager can use it to record match information and help with training, and in the "real world" it lets the rest of the lance exploit the fact that the Berserker is where it's supposed to be (in somebody's face, axing them to death).

The lasers are there to make it easy to juggle heat for the TSM. I desperately wish there was a way to get a capacitor-ed heavy PPC on there without sacrificing my original design goals. But your comment about C3 just got me thinking...the Word of Blake had Hesperus II under their thumb for a few years. Maybe a Blakist Berserker... >:D

edit: nvm. Missed the hatchet in the list. :D

btw, I designed a Boosted C³ Berzerker a while back. Bombast lasers generally suck, but combined with TSM those things are the ****. Maybe try to include at least one?

Yeah, noticed that later. ;)

for some other ideas: I remember giving the beast an armored cockpit, armored engine, angel ecm and a probe. Should increase its resiliency by quite a lot. The scout aspect also comes in handy, given the fact that you have to get into the enemy's face anyway.
