The Fire Ant, a creepy-crawly mech. 😁
« on: 17 November 2017, 00:12:17 »
So I am always broke... 😁 since I went back to college this last few years, money and me are only passing acquaintances, when we meet there is an awkward silence and suspicious looks between us... 🤣 This being the case I have the tendency to use what minis I already have in my collection for games. Luckily Battletech has this new fangled mech construction system for cheapskates like me!
This is my little mech that could. The Fire Ant. It uses the plastic Caprice Acco Soldier Mount from my Heavy Gear collection. I like him. I hope you do too. 😊

Wow...
For a, in essence, Introtech/Late SW era style Mech, this is impressive.
There's only one problem with your listing. You're seven armor points off. You should have 80 points for five tons of Standard Armor.
I worked it up in SSW just to be sure. Here's how I would of set up the Armor:
8/11(3)/9(2)/9/9 (H/CT(R)/L&RT(R)/FL/RL)

I'd love to see what you would do with SL Era/Recovered Tech.

Nice quad.  Decent weaponry for a 25 tonner..
It's not who you kill, but how they die!
You can't shoot what you can't see.
You can not dodge it if you don't know it's coming.
