The challenge: 60 Mechs, and a gnome (pic heavy)

Yes, you read that right. I set myself the goal of completing 60 Mechs in one week. At this, I failed. It actually took 8 days to do.  :(

Within this batch, some new mods from Mr Balk, some old favorite schemes by request, a very special mini that has been on my workshelf for nearly 10 years, and a single gnome for a member of our D&D group.

As always, thoughts, opinions, and thrown pottery welcome. ( No pottery for failing the goal, please. My wife has already seen to that  :oops: )

Nice work.

This next comment is in know way reflective of your mini painting skills: 

By gods the Pinion mini is a laughable POS...guess I never really paid any attention to it in the TRO.

Brilliant design there...nice shell-trap..er torso.

Yes, I'm fully aware its a game and there a other mechs (some I probably even like) with similar flaws...but jeez, that's just pathetic.  Impossible to polish that one...

Some brilliant work on several of the cockpits in this selection...very subtle and convincing.

Thanks for taking the time to photo/post all of those.

Though I must say your post's title was misleading as I was expecting Battle Armor instead of an actual gnome (joke).  ;)

How do you do the missile tips on mechs like the Crusader and Crossbow?

I use a 10/0 spotter, dip in brush shaper, let harden, the use that to spot in the missiles.

Crazy Awesome work, good job.

Seeing that Battlehawk reminds me of the one I threw away. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but once I got it out of the package and really started to look the mini over, I just tossed the ugly thing in the garbage.

Only time I've ever thrown a mini away....
