Jumbo Assault Dropship

I don't know if anybody has done a Jumbo Assault Dropship but here's one.
Assuming that the people making it don't actually have subcapital weapons yet, so it's all just fairly normal weapons.

And armor. Lots of armor and tons of structural integrity. I guess I could fluff the structural integrity as having that honeycomb structure of the Halcyon-class from Halo. And it's a lot of armor to chew through.

And at this point, the only thing that's actually original is the engine and tonnage and probably hull shape. The primary weapon array for this thing is the 36 LRM-20s which can fire into the front arc. Don't be in the front arc. Each salvo is 216 damage, 720 individual missiles, and it can do it 30 times. If you're in anything less than a pocket warship, do not allow the front to point at you. It won't go well for you.

Otherwise the only other notable thing is the 14 small lasers in the FL/FR/RR/RL bays. Each broadside should be able to shootdown a peacemaker-class nuclear weapon. Otherwise it should be good for things like enemy LRMs and capital missiles.
And the rest is mostly what you'd expect.
And there's enough to fire all of the weapons without heat.

And 12 fighters to fly escort because if you're going into a fight, it's good to at least have some ASF support.

I'd be tempted to swap out some of those AC/10s for PPCs, so you have a non-ammunition based long-range weapon.

Other than that though, whoever you are engaging will need a lot of point defense and likely slap on Ferro-Lamellar protection to reduce incoming damage by 20%.   This is merely to delay its destruction, not prevent it (if it has enough armor points to last 4 turns, the F-L armor will let it last 5 turns instead).
