This is a challenge to build Retro aerospace.
Date does not go any further forward than 2500
advanced tech available
various fighter weights available
ship classes as per "Where's the (KF) Boom"

Edit: Never let it be said that i don't listen to criticism. and while i don't know why the 3 tons of infantry compartment didn't show up on the build, heres one with a 5 ton infantry compartment
also, the reason you don't see the Marines listed on the sheet, is that putting them there requires bedding for them (even if it is steerage) and no one sleeps on this shuttle, its for boarding intercepts not generic transport

Do we really need SI 30? I mean for a craft this size, 8 or 10 should be enough...

It also give you space and weight to mount the one thing you need but didn't have...

Overview
Intended as an interceptor.the "Starscream" Class-5 Autocannon to do damage while using the medium laser for either close in work, or to cover its retreat when the two tons of autocanon ammunition is depleted.

Capabilities
Armed with two Class-5 Autocannon and a single nose mounted medium laser, the Starscream is a fast mover that packs a punch. Nine and a half tons of armor wrap around its carrier capable frame to protect it. Five tons of fuel provide an average loiter time for the craft.

Deployment
Being a medium weight primitive frame, the F114 has seen combat in practically every conflict since the the expansion of humanity's grip out into the stars.

History
First deployed by the Terran Alliance, the F-114 Starscream was used as a fast attack and ground to space interceptor craft by Alliance pilots during the "Pacification" of various rebelling colonies during the start of the Outer Reaches Rebellion. Since then it has been seen in every military from the Outworlds to the Kowloon Republic. Tough, easily maintained and basically armed the fighter is a fine dogfighter, and has a good power to weight ratio allowing it to reach orbit in short order.

Each colony starter crew is 26 individuals for farming, equipment operations, and building while the dropships provide initial food, housing and medical care as well as maintenance for the equipment. Once the initial food production and housing are considered stable will the dropship abandon the colony for another or the entire crew load up to leave the colony site to follow on colonists.

Hmmm... I think it could use a Small Craft cubicle too.  That way you don't have to use the DropShuttles to get around.

why base them on the shuttles and eat up precious mass when you can house them on the jumpship and launch from there

had to cut 2 dropshuttles for mass other than the small craft, it wasn't to make them available

"Wheres the KF boom" has met an early grave in the hodgepodge that is BT history. because of the cause for that however, it has spawned a rewrite of that history that is DIRTT, or "Doing It Realistically This Time" where i'm rewriting practically all of BT history because the timeline just doesnt work, somewhere in there "Wheres the (KF) Boom" will exist.

But to somewhat answer your question, yes, these are going to be part of that story
