(I'm still waiting for the restock of the Alpha Strike: Commander's Edition book to come back so I'm not able to look up the rules, which I suspect are in that book).
I'd like to set up an Alpha Strike game where I have a grounded Confederate DropShip on a landing pad as an objective, but I'm not sure how to deal with things like damage thresholds and weapons fire. I DID find the PDF with the Alpha Strike DropShips cards (thanks!), and I have a Mech-scale that I'm painting, so I'm set with those, but I'm still trying to figure out the following:
1) Do grounded spheroid DropShips have facing in Alpha Strike? If so, how do I determine which of its weapons are in which firing arcs?
2) I assume the armor/structure situation is similar to the way it works with Mechs for damage, criticals, and total destruction, but what would it take to disable this DropShip and prevent it from taking off?
3) Is there a reference card for what the DropShip special category acronyms stand for? And likewise, is there a different critical location table for DropShips that needs to be used?
Thanks in advance for the help. I'm checking the Catalyst site daily for AS:CE restock so hopefully I can get it straightaway whenever it's available again. I'm a long-time player that recently returned and Alpha Strike has been such a fun new way to play the game.
