Lance abilities - lost on destruction of a member?

I can't find an answer to this one in the Commander's Edition.

Say I have a Battle lance of 4 units, giving me the Lucky SPA per p. 117 of CE. If one of the units get destroyed, do I lose that SPA?

I found the answer in the AS Companion--the lance keeps the special ability so long as three of its units remain.

Glad you found it.
I did want to mention that Lucky from the Battle Lance is not assigned to unit.  The Formation gets Lucky X and can assign that as they are used.    Your Shadow Hawk misses, it belongs to the Battle Lance with Lucky 1 remaining, you can then say the Shadow Hawk is rerolling it's attack.  You didn't have to assign it to the Shadow Hawk at any point before hand.
