Am I understanding this correctly?

Movement Cost charts, Woods Hex, +1per inch

Converting this to hexes at 2 inches per hex would mean each hex of woods costs +2mp to enter for a total of 4mp, correct?

If one has already converted a units available MP to hex movement, the above example would be +3mp total to enter the woods hex, correct?

4 Alpha Strike MP for 1 hex worth of woods. Which is 2 MP at the Total Warfare scale.
The solution is just ignore Paul.
