(Answered) Formations Rules
« on: 30 June 2022, 09:22:05 »
Hello everyone,

I like to play clan Ghostbear with AS:CE.
With the release of the Battle of Tukayyid sourcebook, new formations for the clans have been introduced. However, not every clan has access to all formations at the time, so far so good. However, I wonder if this is still the case in the later eras, Civil War or Ilclan. Whether these restrictions of the formations still exist. Say whether the restrictions are still in place or lifted.

I would like to play a Strategic Command Star on my Spirit Bears, so is this feasible in the Ilclan era?

Thanks for replies and greetings to all

Rules wise, there are no rules for them other than Tukayyid, and I'm not writing new sourcebooks on the rules forum :).

Field Manual: Crusader Clans mentions that at the point (3059?), several Clans have started using Strategic Command Stars, though very limited. It does not say which Clans, and I don't think they are ever brought up again.
So it's going to be very rare in any other Clan.
The only canon non-Wolf strategic command star I'm aware of is one in Diamond Shark.
