I was under the impression that, when engaged in atmospheric flight, spheroid DropShips hover upright and use vectored / secondary thrust to move laterally. Wouldn't this mean spheroids should use the Aft arc for Strafing attacks, rather than the Nose? To my mind, it seems like they could only strafe ground targets with the Nose arc if they tilt sideways and somehow maintain lift despite having virtually no downward thrust.
Am I just wrong about how spheroid DropShips move?
