Hi,

I just picked up the third edition and was looking at the Aerospace section. On page 181 / Step 2: Verify Firing Arc, the types of attacks are described with any altitude limitations that they have. The Striking Attack is notable as it doesn't state any altitude limitations.

I then continued reading and saw on page 183 / Step 6: Applying Damage, that "The damage from a successful striking attack is equal to the aerospace unit's Short range damage value, plus any overheat damage effects."

Is the quote just an accidental hold over from the original aerospace system for Alpha Strike? Otherwise it seems like an aerospace unit could make a Striking Attack from non-Short ranges and still use that range bracket's damage value.

Yes, exactly right.  Working on writing the errata now. Thanks.
