(Answered) Coolant trucks
« on: 13 November 2022, 13:27:03 »
Hello,

I apologise if this has been answered previously. I wanted to use a coolant truck in a game of Alpha Strike to cool a toasty fire support mech.

I’m searching for the rules surrounding them but can’t find anything in the AS, Companion or Commanders Edition.

On the MUL website, the coolant truck cards have the CT ability, but nothing in relation to subtracting heat.

Would it be possible to point me in the direction of how to use them?

Thank you very much in advance.

Generally, Coolant trucks have no effect on gameplay.  They are an after-combat support unit.  There are no rules for using them during the game in Alpha Strike.
At times, scenarios have brought up an emergency use of coolant trucks and given them rules for that scenario only. Turning Point Vega 3039 is one example that includes rules for Alpha Strike.
Those rules are not meant to be used as a general rule in any other games though.

Thank you for the answers. I'll pickup that PDF and take a look at the rules they're using.

Thanks once again.
