Looking through the latest printing of A Time of War, I'm noticing that the Thick-Skinned trait was removed. Any particular reason as to why?

Streamlining.
We interrogated each Trait... Actually HR informs me I should refer to the process as a 'performance review'. Some Traits didn't do well. So we had to give them the ability to pursue other opportunities.
