Unit Roles — Specific Requirements

I want to establish first and foremost that I know any parameters set for what defines a unit role are not inflexible, and edge-case construction or unit fluff can and often should be the source for exceptions being made. This is just for my own curiosity, and for the satisfaction of designing my own units, without judgement for others'.

That said, it was recently brought to my attention that a series of unit role requirements more specific than the loose guidelines laid out in Campaign Operations exist internally—specifically that one standard that should ideally be met for Missile Boats is a total of 20 missile tubes. What are the more specific parameters laid out for each unit role?
