Clan Wolf Lore Verificatio
« on: 23 November 2021, 11:50:54 »
Having a friendly debate with some fellows. They are staunch IS and I am devoutly Clan Wolf.

I've done a fair amount of reading off the internet for years, but the lore of the Wolves seems to always come to question.

So I am hoping to get some finalized answers...

1) Clan Wolf loses the Trial of Refusal
2) Crusader faction becomes Clan Jade Wolf
3) Warden faction eventually leaves and becomes Wolf-In-Exile
4) Wolf-In-Exile eventually forms Wolf Empire
And last but certainly not least...
5) Wolf Empire helps found, and even leads, the Second Star League.

Some clarity on the matters would be appreciated lol this has been a stalemate for quite some time

You're talking about the Refusal war, quiaff?

1) Clan Wolf loses the Trial of Refusal

Depends on your POV. The Warden Wolves survived the trial, but the Crusader Wolves were shattered. In return, the Jade Falcons, the most ardent Crusaders and who had been ready to continue the invasion, were mauled. Ulric and Natasha were killed, but Phalen escaped with the bulk of the Wolves. So, in a technical sense, the Wolves lost the trial, but the Falcons were not feeling like winners, especially after Vlad Ward was finished with both Vandervahn Chistu and Elias Crichell...

2) Crusader faction becomes Clan Jade Wolf

For all of about three seconds. Once he killed IlKhan Elias Crichell, Vlad Ward went back to being Clan Wolf again.

3) Warden faction eventually leaves and becomes Wolf-In-Exile

That is what happens. While Ulric and Natasha were taking the Crusader Wolves on a death march through the Falcons, Phalen took the Warden Wolves and headed for Arc-Royal.

4) Wolf-In-Exile eventually forms Wolf Empire

Nope! Clan Wolf formed the Wolf Empire. Clan Wolf-in-Exile was still on Arc-Royal until the Factons forced them off in the 3140s

And last but certainly not least...
5) Wolf Empire helps found, and even leads, the Second Star League.

Try Third Star League... The Second Star League was 3058 - 3067, and an alliance of the Inner Sphere powers to get the Clans to back off. The Wolves-in-Exile did rejoin the Wolves in 3151, at least long enough to Turn the Falcons into leftovers.

I suggest this article: https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Refusal_War and https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Star_League to a more detailed explination of your questions.
