How Many Cubic Meters?
« on: 05 November 2022, 19:51:21 »
I've just found a sketchy cite for a human body being about 87 liters, and I'm thinkin' it means a SMRT GY™ might be able to figure out a rough approximation of how many vehicle-like spaces a squad of six men would thus take in an APC?

Comes out to 522, or so … Then you bump it up for a 7-man squad, so … :-\

Google would've told you that 1000 liters = 1 cubic meter.

What's your question?
The solution is just ignore Paul.

I'm trying to fudge-up a loose approximation of the volume 30, beefy, infantry men, inside an armored personal carrier.

Assumption Alpha is six such gents would take up a vehicle space; Assumption Beta is the all have long rifles and "heavy" body armor, and maybe a change of shorts.

Clearly, you can get two APCs in a 30m hex, but could they still hide behind a 6m ridge?

I wa'na invoke the Daimyo HQ 67-K, but it's got no tonnage in HQ Gear.

Almost fun, no? :D

Do whatever works in your game. But a 6 meter height restriction permits a very large vehicle.
