Official Live Action Battletech Series / Movie?

Apologies if this is the wrong thread, or "taboo" topic in official IP world of things

Just wondering, what, if any are the plans on ANY "official" Battletech live action film(s) or Series ?

There are plenty of short fan stuff around, and somerset strikers

Every other universe has ended up getting live action treatment, and the technology (CGI) and talent is here, not to mention TONS of lore content to work with

IE: First Clan Invasion, thier story, Kell's story, starting off

Or is it just simply due to IP issues ?

I wouldn't say it's taboo, it's just that the people who could actually give an answer to this don't post here. It the kind of question that involves Topps, Microsoft and lawyers. No one here would be in the room, or would even be consulted. Nor would they be involved in the project. We wouldn't even hear about it any sooner than the rest of the public.

So unsatisfying to ask, unsatisfying to answer, but not taboo.

But the stance on fan made stuff is ?

For example, would we be allowed to use mech CGI from the various games, or again IP issue ? Or does it simply revolve around the fact, that if it is done as a "freeware" thing and does not pay or make any money to create ?

I remember this was the issue with Star Trek Anaxar or something ?

You really would need to ask that question to the people who own the IP.
