The last living Youngblood?
« on: 10 April 2021, 17:00:40 »
Spotlight On: Crescent Hawks, p. 5 (Jezebel Youngblood), states, "As the last living Youngblood, she worries about her ability to carry on the name." The roster provided is for 3144 and the scenario is dated 3141.

TRO: 3150, p. 128 (Hollander III Notable Units) has Lt. Jen Youngblood among the defenders on Arc-Royal in September 3146. Same is reflected in RG: ilClan, vol. 13, p. 10 (Jason Jackowski). Due to proximity, it seems unlikely (but not impossible) that Jezebel is unaware of Jen. Does the Spotlight's "last living Youngblood" require errata, or is there another explanation?

There's some fiction cued up to explain it, but the world has moved on ahead of it. So, spoilers below until then:

At the time of that writing, Jezebel and the Hawks believe Jen to be dead, so no mention, and the "last living" line. The buildup and  reunion is being worked up in fiction, but those two RG entries is the author's Cliffs Notes.

This has been brought to our attention twice before, but we didn't issue errata, as it was intentional.
