Well this design originated from a Megamek Clan Campaign we played in another forum. I played the Blood Spirits there. We were all allowed to create one custom build unit for each Category (Front Line Mech, Second Line Mech, Heavy Vehicle, light Vehicle and Battlearmor).
This was my BA in that Campaign.
The heavy Blood Omen Armor.
Weighting 1500KG it is still mechanized capable, but its Armor is not stronger than that of a Standard Elemental Suit. Where this thing shines is its shere firepower over a good Range. Main Weapon is a LRM 3 with 3 Reloads, equaling in an LRM 15 when the entire Point fires. Backing up the LRMs is an AP GAUSS, which gives good Backup. Final Weapon in this Armor is an SRM 4 ONE SHOT which gives something like a finishing Strike when 20 SRMs rain down on an Enemy mech. Of course loosing the possibility of Swarm or Leg Attacks is the Price for this firepower. But this design was feared in that campaign.
