For reasons I can't quite explain, I don't think you need to jump to clear out enemy field works when you ride a hover for your real mobility.

What I'm not clear on is what's not a core compatincy when faced with so alien a hive as field-works when faced with Navel Lasers.

Depends on the job I want the armor to do:
Perraper Da Sapper - This type of suit would be used when I want to clear out an enemy's minefield, then plant sensors so I can keep an eye on the enemy force.  A recon type armor

Perraper Da Sapper Hot - Flamer plus mine clearance plus heat sensor, means that if I come across a mine that has a tricky disarming set up, I just burn it up and let the mine explode.  Heat sensor might let me spot mines easier.

Perraper Da Sapper Disco - Flamer with more ammo plus mine clearance, means that if I come across a mine that has a tricky disarming set up, I just burn it up and let the mine explode.  More Flamer ammo lets me check suspicious locations by setting them on fire

Backburner - Battle claw and anti-personnel weapon mount on the left hand?  Not sure how that works, but ok

Somehow, it helps to seem them simply posted. ;D

Now that I've done so, I can see a pretty argument for the straight Sapper and the Backburner, each, and maybe as a pair, but if one wanted to conserve BA Recharging Couches, on a DropShip, then you would…? :-\
