Just thought about how an IS suit pushed to the extremes in terms of raw firepower would look like.
Well, it ain't pretty, but it sure can kick teeth in.
It's kind of a Fenrir approach in terms of survivability, meaning: you get hit, you're gone.
BUT a constant TMM of +3 (or +4 when standing still) plus hidden unit rules should help avoid getting hit by a lot.
What does that leave us with?
THREE Medium Lasers  >:D

Nice idea for an all-out suit, though it's not really a Kopis anymore without the twin claws.
The Damage is definitely nice, though.
If you go that far anyways, you can as well do a quad, granting you 160kg more payload. }:)
Well, or 3 points more armor if you're that sane.
I find it rather telling that 2 ER mediums are actually heavier than 3 mediums, are 3 range worth that much?

Nice idea with the quad. And no, IMO the 3 more in range are not worth the way heavier payload. With movement that slow it would only give you the advantage over AP Gauss etc. for so long...

I can speak from experience when I say that thing is going to be an unholy terror to anything that wanders into range.  12 Lasers a squad, 48 for a platoon.....

Alright, this is my last word on IS BA Madness: The Super Fenrir!
(Calling it a Fenrir kinda makes more sense because of the quad chassis and the now only 5 armor points).
Added in a David Gauss, just because the 6th armor point kinda bugged me. 5 armor makes sense, 7 armor would make sense, but 6 seems a bit odd.
16 damage over 8/9 hexes!

I'd stick with the extra point of armour personally.

Hm, or 3 Magshot shots. I guess I will have to agree, the benefits of having that 6th armor point outweigh the advantage of having 1 more damage, at least if the suit also faces IS forces on a regulat basis.

Or 3 SRMs, or two Bursts of AP Gauss, and being immune to oneshot kills from lucky King Davids.
To me, 6 Armor is the minimum from an Anti-BA suit, as they tend to use that kind of weapons.
As for BA tubes, I think it'd prefer two tubes with a few hundred kilograms of ammo.^^
And maybe a backup weapon.

Well, to be fair, making it a heavy squad would only reduce it's firepower by ~12% and cut the price by a third, including the trooper. I suppose it's just more economical to go for lighter suits when it's about speed.
