A Guillotine inspired from packhntr´s Grasshopper

All medium lasers are replaced with LPPC´s, two of then with capicitors. The SRM launcher ( I hate this thing) is degraded to an SRM-2 launcher. Easy to produce due to the standard structure. Quite tanky too

PPC Capacitors are largely counter-productive.

Eww,  NO, just NO.

I mean, I like LPPCs & all, but, you just took one of the best infighter heavy mechs & gave it a 3 hex minimum range.

SOOOO... I wanted a bigger gun and more close support weapons.  So, I came up with this lil bugger.  You can't go slapping the big go away button, but using bracket firing, it can be a nasty lil bastard

Hmm.

I like the HPPC & Streak a lot.  :thumbsup:

But I'm torn on the 2nd rack & use of ERMLs as back up weapons.
You can't fire them all at once & can't even do the ERs while moving w/o heat.
And there are 3 different range brackets going on so your not lining up a major alpha strike.

I'm thinking I'd drop it back down to 1 rack in order to keep the SFE for durability.
Basically, an 8D where you combine the 2 ERLL into an HPPC like the Marauder-9M/9M2 does.
Actually, HPPC + C3S & you basically have a dream Guillotine IMHO

If you're heat limited, bog standard Medium Lasers aren't a bad way to go.
