boredom challenge.

Mass range: 65-75 tons

Tech Base: Inner Sphere

Specials: Must mount one melee weapon and/or TSM

Restrictions: Speed must have a base walk in excess of 6/9

IF using TSM, heat must be balanced without deactivating heat sinks at a 0 to 9 heat in a single movement phase from a standing start, and must be able to maintain 9 heat continuously through movement and weapons fire. (Bracket fire is okay)

Probable usage: Clan front, 3058-3070.  survivability/durability is considered to be of great importance.

And you will know that it needs a 450 engine to achieve 6/9 by 75 tons, and 420 by 70 tons? The tonnage restriction makes it impossible. Isn't possible to change the restriction that does not needs a large engine as a basic requirement?

I'd assume TSM bonus is included here.
Minis needed for Atlas AS7-K2, Stalking Spider II; Kishi, Oni, Zou, Simian, Quirinus and Centaur battle armor; DI Multipurpose VTOL, Kinnol tank, JES III missile carrier.

Anyway, there you go.

So, the idea is making it effectively a 7/11/0 mech. It can keep the heat by run(2), shoot three ER MLs(5x3) and one ML(3)=20, or walk(1), shoot two ER MLs(5x2) and three MLs(3x3)=20 each turn. If you want to heat it up you can shoot all the weapons while run.

C3 Slave and Recon Camera lets your die trying not just a sucidial run, and it will expect some suppressive fire with enhanced accuracy.

I didn't think so because OP said base walk, although OP confirmed that it includes TSM.
