The large r-e laser is an interesting weapon with its 1:1 damage/heat ratio, and only slightly less accurate and heavier than the much-maligned IS large pulse, all with better range.  I think it's a good main gun for a latter-era Guillotine  Not sure how I feel about the rest of the weapons mix but I think it could work.  I'm less sold on the medium re-engineered lasers.  It depends on the prey it hunts, but a lot of the time a pair of medium x-pulses would be the strictly better choice, and that's what I'd roll with were I behind the stick.  Gets you a ton back, too!   8)

When it comes to the Rocket Launcher, I get trying to keep the general weapon profile of the Guillotine, but I'm not sold.  It's my personal opinion that RLs are more of a deterrent (and a crit-sink   ;) ) when mounted on a 'mech than anything else, and a single pod doesn't get you much boom or much fear.  More armor might serve your mechwarrior better.

I actually kinda like the LPPCs here.  The capacitors give you something to do when visual contact is broken or the shots you have on offer suck.  And a bit more reach doesn't hurt.

Hmm. I went with medium r-e L because of the ploliferation of hardened and reflec armor on Drac and Clan platforms. Hand against those savage wolves. With the m- x-pulse lasers you can get 1 ton true, but you also get enough free crits to install endo steel and swap the RL10 for an SRM 4. The ammo I would install on the head since I donĀ“t have space for CASE II
