upgraded albatross; has fewer missile tubes, but I tried to keep it close to the mini.

more armor and CASE II massively increase lifespan, exchanged the LPL for a L VSPL. The missile launchers become a pair of MML7, and the medium lasers become ER small. It's oversinked, but that's hardly the worst sin.

You could maybe exchange one sink to bring the mediums back, but I think I prefer having both large lasers on some turns at midrange and cooling in close.

I love the Marauder 2.5R and Awesome reworks/upguns. It's amazing what one can do just by upgrading to freezers.

Normally I'd save save weight on a rifleman refit by dropping the large lasers to mediums. But, your idea of losing the mediums and sidegrading to licgt AC5s is rather brilliant.

HPPC+cap hunchie is scary. All the punch of an AC20 at twice the range.

GriffinHawk I'm guessing is a frankenmech with the PPC of the Griffin and the AC5 of a Shadowhawk while dropping all the missiles and lasers. Interesting concept.

griffinhawk was me discussing elsewhere on the boards, but putting the example here. I was arguing that the gap between ac/5 and LRMs isn't as wide as simple spreadsheetTech makes it look. Having a wider short range band,  and matching with your PPC matters.

Still probably lose, though. Griffins are awesomesauce.
