iIClan era purist Guillotine

Faster than the original, with both reflective armor and an anti-missile system for extra protection against Clan energy weapons and missiles this Guillotine is designed to be able to close in with the enemy in order to engage with its LB-20X autocannon. Three ER and one standard Medium Laser make up the energy weapons suite thet can be used with manageble heat buildup even when engaging using the five jump jets. A rocket launcher 10 replaces the SRM launcher and is to be used as a last resort weapon.

Well, tbh, the switch to a AC20 isn't very "Guillotine".  It is a good mech, don't get me wrong.  But the flavor is different....
If at first you don't succeed, make it worth the repairman's time!

There are other variants sporting ballistic weapons on that location so why not an LB-20X ?

See, the label only meant anything to you. If you'd asked me what my idea of a 'purist' Guillotine would be it would be loaded down with energy weapons: a heavy one in the right arm and 2 light/medium ones in the left, plus 2 more in the side torsos an an SRM armament.

All I can think of are LL, ERLL, PPC, ERPPC, HPPC.

Never would I consider an AC20 for a Guillotine.

Maybe some sort of close assault Excalibur variant or a proper Victor but never on a Guilli.

Found one on Sarna, wow, totally forgettable LGR model that I had no recollection of the loadout on.

I'd accept it as a custom, but calling it "purist" is a stretch.

This thing has one glaring weakness, a fast Gauss Rifle mech and there are more than a few.

Reflective Armor on a 5MP unit is also pretty glaring.  It's not going THAT fast that non-Pulse can't hit it.
Also anything w/ TSM that is faster is going to put a hurting on it.   (Scarabus for example)
