Light PPC Grasshopper

So, I wanted to see if I could make a viable version of the Grasshopper I use in MWO.  SURPISE I can.  Weapon loadout is simple.  SEVEN Lite PPCs.  That's it.  What ya all think?

This is what you get when you mix a good tech and a good discount on a crate of a specific weapon.

As for using it in CBT.....
For 4 tons I'm not a fan of the Light-SFE.
I'm hating the Minimum range LPPC on a mech I like to brawl with.

On the other hand, 7 LPPCs seems like it would make for a great Marauder load out.

To be honest, it does very little damage in MWO... but it is good for shock and awe as the victim gets splashed with the PPCs. And the heat penalties with the seven suck.  I'm not keen on the minimums myself, but with the maneuverability, you should be able to maintain the ranges.

6 LPPCs and three of those capacitored would be interesting.

Gotta agree.  Get some capacitors in there so you can punch some holes when you have opportunity to charge them.  Sticking to the 4/6/4 movement curve with a LFE and reduced armor also hits a sour note for my own tastes.  I have a feeling that the lack of any 'wow' gun might get a player to ignore it longer than is strictly wise, though.

Since I designed this to replicate what I use in MWO, CAPS are not available.  As for the armor, it is damn near maxxed out... Without going to an XL engine that is.

It's not egregious by any standard - you're hovering around 90% max armor, after all.  A Wolf Trap it ain't.
