It's not too far at least... though at least from your place it would be kinda cancerous to get to.

Someone at my job tested positive for COVID which forced me to get tested.  My test came back positive.  So I'm going to be out for ay least 2-3 weeks.

Oh no!! Yeah, get well!  You let us know whenver you are ready again.  We understand.  If you're wanting to get any side missions in, we got discord and megamek if you can't wait (this goes for everyone).

Yikes!  So sorry to hear that... get well soon!

And yes, I made it home safe today.  I waited until 1900 to leave the office.  It was like May...

greetings y'all.
Unfortunately good Grognard, we're in a bit of a delay do to our intrepid leader having a case of the COVID from a dirty coworker.   We're likely going to be looking at February at this point to be sure for the safety of all involved.

as opposed to Marines I know who contracted the plague from licking entire railings on a dare.  (I kid you not)

While possible, it's more likely they caught it from some other source (people willing to take that kind of risk are most likely taking others too).  I say this as a COVID reporting POC for my unit.

Not sure when we'll get together again, but I encourage our resident LTAC user to check out page 166 of Interstellar Operations.  Fuel-Air Explosives are legal for Artillery Cannons, and the damage from a Long Tom shell is radius 3: 30/20/10/5!  >:D

I'm crossing my fingers that it will work... no guarantees, even though sanity has prevailed.  Normalcy is an indeterminate amount of time away...  :-\

That works for me. I have also pre-confirmed with Mrs. Space Cat that if we want to gather at my place we're cleared for that on the 20th.
Hopefully by that point I'll have my fancy Steel Warriors Studio terrain in. And I will have to review the airburst LTAC rules. That sounds monsterous.

I grabbed a couple of 2nds from him a little before Christmas, a few are not really usable but most of them are pretty decent. I will be buying more.

I have set February 20th on my calendar. Now I just need to get out my can of Murphy repellant and spray myself down.

I'd like to join you on the 20th, if I can.  I live over in Manassas.

I've recently started trying to figure out the tabletop game, coming from some of the various video games.  So far I have the three box sets, Total War, and the TacOps advanced rules.

Update: Team Space Cat also now has a Space Dog. Mrs. Space Cat acquired a French Bulldog in September.

So now the allergy warning has to be amended to include dog allergies as well.

Currently Space Dog and Space Cat are still negotiating a cease fire treaty.

Fortunately, I'm not allergic to dogs... BUT, I DO eagerly await the status of the cease fire between Space Dog and Space Cat...  ;D

My mother got a french/boston terrier mix a few years ago.  It's a cute dog but it's got a lot of energy in there.

FYI, there could be an issue on my end.  I have been trying to get a procedure done to have a kidney stone removed, but it keeps getting pushed back for one reason or another.

Right now I plan on showing and running the game.  I'll keep you all posted.
