“Sir the drone just entered the area the satellite spotted the unknown units and we have a bigger problem.”
“Get it out son, what is the problem?”
“We have civilians in the area.”
“Great! What in the name of the nine levels of hell are civilians doing out that way.”
“I have no idea but it looks like they are in trouble. A couple of the vehicles look to be burning.”
“OK, get word to the GSF so they know to bring medical support.”
“On it sir.”

“We are having problems with you and you groups travel papers.” The customs officer looks at the young woman. “We cannot let you continue on until we get this straightened out.”
“I do not understand. We did all of the paper work months ago.” She looks at the officer. “We were told that everything was good to go.”
“I cannot speak for who did your paper work I can only speak of what is need here and now and you are missing a bunch of the need travel forms.” He looks over to one of the security officers. “If you would please go with this officer he will take you to a place where you can fill out the missing forms.”
“OK but can the others and I find a place to stay first. Somehow I think this is going to take a while.”
“Understandable the officer will take you and you party to a place that you will be able to stay while this is handled. Due to the size of your group things will be …. close.”
“I understand, thank you.” She heads off to her group with the other customs officer.

“I am here to help. Due to how late in the day it is I will offer that you rest today and start fresh tomorrow.” The customs officer looks at the young woman and her group. “I will stay with you. If you need something, anything please just ask.”
“Once more thank you.” She informs the group that they have more paper work to do.
“Before we go to the rest area can we stop at a ComStar office? I need to send a message.”
“That is not a problem. They have offices in the complex.”

“I need this message to go out alpha.” She informs the Acolyte working with her.
“That is not a problem.” He looks over the address. “It will take about a week to get to its destination.”
“If that is the fastest way then it has to be.”

Message
Yo Pops

I need some help. We got out but not too far. You know how things work can you do anything from your end?

                           Ibis

“As I told the customs officer yesterday my group and I filled out all the travel forms months ago.”
“Yes I see but due to the way things are now things have changed and new forms are needed. This should not take long to fix.”
“That is what they always say.” She is not happy. “I am sorry for that. It has been one thing after another.”
“I do understand and we will look to make this be as quick as we can.”

So check you pm's for what you got.

it was done by what was asked for. How long your unit is with the GSF. How much you did during the missions.

Does anyone have trained combat medics among their troops? If my troops are done with their combat medic training, i'm bringing them. If not, I'll bring my Kobolds, and hope that we can still evac the wounded.

In deep the heavy woods of Shinrin. “Looks like I have new orders.” Looking at the readout on the pad. “I can do what is needed. No more waiting. I will also be free do deal with others that do not hold true the oath they have given.”

I will not be physically present.
My forces will be
Chimera
"Dog Pound" w/ BA
Mantueffel primary/w BA
Ajax B config/w BA

A note to command:
What is our objective(s)
1) intercept and engage if necessary unidentified forces?
2) evacuate the civilians?
3) both 1 and 2?

It should be decided by C.O.C.(chain of command) which units are tasked with which objective to complete. For example as my unit has no assets to aid non-combatants my objective should be to assist identifying and engaging the OPFOR if necessary away from the non-combatants. Please not I do not have any senior leadership(O4 or higher) present for this mission.

The mission is to find out who the units are that are operating in the AO are and what they are doing in that area.
Standing orders are and have always been to safeguard civilians.
How the GSF units do this is up to them.

“Sir the drone shows three groups. Two are moving to the civilians and one group is holding back by the hills to the west. One group is moving from the west and the other from the south. The group in the hills looks to armor and infantry. The group moving from the west looks to be ‘Mechs and armor. The group from the south is also ‘Mechs and armor.

“Control to GSF strike force can you hold back a unit so we can drop them in a different location.”
“Roger control we can.”

“Tai-i we are setting up a perimeter around the civilian vehicles.”
“Good Chu-i, keep them safe.”
‘Tai-i, we will move to flank the others to draw some of the heat off the civilians.”
“Good, I will hit them head on. Maybe that will get them to think twice about attacking civilians.”
“Tai-i I have movement form east.”
“Keep an eye it. It could be ComGuard or Word of Blake units. We know that both have units in the area.”
“Sir they read as the Chiji’s forces.”
“This just got interesting.”

“Did I just hear what I think I did?” Sergeant Rey asks over the comms. “I am passing this back to command.”
“Adept Wood to Lieutenant Tan, Chi-i Jung and I will setup around Dr. Musasho with her escort. Take the other units and see to the civilians.”

“Are the Strikers setting up around the civilian vehicles?” Adept Wood asks.
“Looks that way, they are setting up at the four points. Also the Karnovs are moving along the flank and the ‘Mechs are going after the other units.” Chi-i Jung responds.

“Lieutenant Tan that group by the civilian vehicles is the same group we had dealings with back in January that was giving Ceallach troops problems and Colonel Grayjoy and I said they could remove themselves from the field and once more in March when they helped with the Arkab problem. Do not start with them but if they fire on you return fire.”

“Now I see why Captain Bonanno wants to check fire on them.” Chi-i Jung states over the general comms.

“Lieutenant Tan I picking up some more chatter from the units just ahead.” Sergeant Rey reports to her CO.
“What do you have Rey?”
“I cannot make out a lot of it because they are talking so fast and Japanese, but it sounds like someone is asking for a butt kicking and someone is going to give it.”

“Lieutenant Tan I got movement from the south.”
“Keep an eye on it Sergeant.”
“Will do Lt.”

“Lieutenant Tan I am getting a combat feel but I cannot figure out where it is coming from. It does have a lot of new intel and some overlaps ours.” Sergeant looks at the readings. “Someone is dropping a lot of thunder.”
“That must be that group that back in February hit the Doc’s place and some of them were at the rest stop in March and the desert in April.“ Sergeant Tereshakaya cuts in.

“Lieutenant Tan I am getting a request we stand down from the unit between us and the mine lovers.” Chi-i Jung informs the GSF lead. “From what I am picking out we are going to have some prisoners.”

“Chiji Defense Forces you will stand down this matter is settled. The ones that are reasonable for the attack on the civilians and the commander of the other force are for the Chiji. The Battlemech belongs to me. The others will retire from the field. I have the codes to destroy the mines and will do so after my warriors and I are clear. Also have your flanking force stand down.”

After the Battlemech has been dragged from the mined area and the two Badgers have been escorted by Tora and Crab Battlemechs to the GSF units and a perimeter set the members of the unit that defended the civilians exit their vehicles and walk towards the MASH truck tending to the civilians. Tai-i Tan and Talon Sergeant Hasagawa’s battle armor squads stand ready. The older ‘Mech warrior holds up one hand to let them know they are not threat.
“Redi Musashi Kiko I offer to you the loyal service of the Burūsutōmu Kaisha.” The aged ‘Mech warrior takes a knee and presents his katana to Dr Musashi. “We are done with the lies of the Kokuryu-kai. They and we have forgotten who and what true Samurai are. We will no longer be Ronin if you honor us to serve you.” The others drop to their knees and bow deeply to her. “To see mercenaries hold honor ….. has shown us much that we have forgotten.”
“How do I know that you will keep you word, you are not keeping it with the Kokuryu-kai. You did not keep it to the Dragon.”
“You have a good point. I will offer that like others the words of the Kokuryu-kai sounded true and for a long time like other members of our family I was under the spell of these words.” He still holds the weapon for her to take from him. “But at this time I have seen the lies that the words of the Kokuryu-kai are nothing more than words for week people to take something that does not belong to them. So I offer my service and the service of my warriors to you. I Musashi Enyo your late husband’s second cousin give you my word that we of the Musashi clan no longer are under the spell of the Kokuryu-kai.” Looking at Kiko. “We were seeking you out when this happened just so you understand us.”

A Clint, Raven, J. Edgar Hover Tank and a Heavy A.P.C. will enter the area as the combat ends.
“Looks like we made the party late and no one left us something to eat.”
“Well next time don’t take so long to pick your music for the trip if you want a shot at the buffet.”
“I’m getting major comm chatter between the two units in the hills. Can’t make heads of tails of most of it, they got to slow a bit now that they switched to a standard freak. I should have worked on my Japanese more.”
“So what is going on over that way?”
“Hard to tell, both sides are speaking so fast I can’t keep up. But from what I did get looks like they are working out a truce. One group has to give up some gear. The one that is down is going to someone but his ride now belongs to the ones that dropped it.”
“Standard Sphere thing, looks like we got some old school boys playing is our sand box. I know the boss will use that bit real well.”
“I know one thing just by how they were talking one crew is not very happy with the other and if these two cross again it will be ugly as all get out.”
“What are they doing? They are moving to the area with the civvies. Everyone look sharp this may get hot fast.”
“WOW look at all those guys around the MASH perk up. This may be round two.
“Now what are they up to? They all stopped over by the MASH and are powering down.”
“Look all of them are dismounting and walking towards the MASH.”
“YA and all that BA don’t look real happy about that.”
“YO that old dude just took out his sword and is offering it to the old lady.”
“What the?”

“Sho-sho I do not like to be the one to bring this news but we have a very large problem.” Cho-sa Westfield starts the video call. “I have been informed that the command crew, the security teams and some of the crew of the Winds of Heaven are Kokuryu-kai.”
“What can we do about this problem before it gets larger?”
“I have sent units to deal with this and do have some on board that will be of help, but they will need some support.”
“What kind of support?”
“I know that some of your people are trained for ship board work. I think it would be better if some of them work with the units I have moving to the problem at this time.”
“I will have the proper personal meet with your group right away.”
“Thank you Sho-sho.”
“OH before I forget as commander of the area I am promoting you to Tai-sa.” She shows him his new rank pins and a hard copy of the paper work. “I will give these to you when you return. As my second in command you will need the rank.”
Westfield has a blank look on his face for a second or two then. “Thank You Sho-sho.” He bows to her.
“Do not thank me so fast, you will find that with your new rank you have new problems.” She smiles at him. “One question for you Tai-sa, how do you know about this.” She points to her new rank bars. “I only found out a few hours ago?”
“As second in command I was informed about your new rank by DCA command. Also I know people that know people.” He smiles.

“Sir the boys a crypto just got some intel form that last data drop and it looks like the robs just pulled a major personnel change.”
“What do you have?”
“Looks like they pulled a lot of people for some other mission, but the ones that pulled out did not take any gear with them.”
“Well could have been more incoming troops, so we take this as a win for now. Still they will back up gear so they will not be having a lot of down time.”

“I do not like having people that I have never worked with just dropping in and tell me they are here to help.”
“We will not be or get in your way. We are to do a mission set and some of that mission set will be helping yours as well.”
“I would like to see your orders.”
“As you can see we are working with your command but not under it. We will be working our missions and some of said missions will be of help to your mission as well.”
“I do not understand how this will work.”
“Simple we will do our missions and you will do yours. As we do our mission you will find that your mission will benefit your mission as well. To start my people will see what is happening and will inform you of things that will help you plan your next operations.”

“Young one you should not be out in these woods so late. Someone might think you an intruder and shoot you.”
“Who are you and why are you here?”
“As you doing what needs to be done. We need to not be in this place, others will be along and I do not think that will be good for us.”
Looking at his wrist he sees that a group people are heading toward them. “Old man you are causing me problems.”
“No young one. I have been here for weeks bothering none. I know of a place, they will not find us that is if you keep you mind in the now and here.”
“Well than we both should get moving.” The two melt in to the wooded darkness.

“Central it has to have been an animal. We have found nothing and we have covered the area.”
“OK patrol you can come in just stay sharp and double check everything on the way back.”

“Duke ComStar just dropped this off for you.” They duty sergeant hands Duke a data pad.
“Danke.” Duke reads it. “Just great, Sergeant I need you to get the governor on the line ASAP.”

“Alpha to escort, stand by to deal with the CAP if they do not stand down.”
“Roger Alpha. Weapons are hot.”
“Tai-i Tora to Winds of Heaven CAP you are to stand down. If you do not comply you will be shot down.”
“Tai-i we do not recognize you authority you will vacate this area or you will be shot down.”
“This is my authority. I am sending you authorized codes now.”
“CAG to CAP flight stand down.”
“CAP you will join up with our escort and stand by.”
“CAP will comply.”

“Sir the comms and sensors just went down.”
“What? Get teams on it. Have security stand by.”

“Sir our security teams have not stopped the intruders.”
“What are you saying we have a full security complement on board how come they have not stopped this already?”
“Sir the boarders are slipping past the sensors and have help from some of the crew and the DCA security teams. From what our security teams report I think that the boarding teams are ISF.” The XO tells the Captain. “We have not been able to contact the CAP fighters at all.”
“Dam it get what crewmembers we can trust to help the security teams.”
“I have already done that sir. The boarding teams and crew helping them have control of the aft end of the ship plus the docking collars and are moving forward. Most of the crew is not taking sides.”
“Sir I have a DropShip on approach and coming in fast.” The sensor officer informs the Captain. “I cannot get an ID due to the ECM.”
“Great just what we need more unwanted guests. See if we can get the Task Group back.”
“We have not been able to make contact with them.” The comms offices reports. “The boarders have all the comm channels blocked.”
“OK, get the shuttles ready to go.” Looking around the bridge. “We will move on my order.”
“Sir the on board sensors just went down.”
“OK people move. We are getting out before they cut us off from the flight bay.” Looking to the XO. “Get the security teams to hold off the intruders until we get off ship.”
“Sir I don’t know how long security can hold now that the intruders have reinforcements.” The XO looks at the skipper.
”Command group with me, junior officers hold the bridge as long as you can.” The Captain draws his sidearm. “Command group we move now.”

“Nijero flight control to TG-3068.22 with your new vector we will have to have you land at the far end of the port. Due to how open that end is we will have a security force in place by the time you land.”
“Roger control.”

“YO boss who is the new robe?”
“Don’t know but looks like that one has some juice but the way the old boy is acting.”
‘You want two to see what this one is up to?”
“YA but have two hang way back. They are to just watch for a while. This is going to be trouble I can feel it.”
“You got it boss.”
“Have transport on standby. We might be moving fast.”

“Sir the command crew is not on the bridge and both of the small craft have launched.” A trooper reports. “We have control of the ship, the ships security forces and some of the junior officers in the brig.”
“And why am I not surprised that the command crew did not stay.” Looking at the trooper. “Keep the security and officers in the brig. Get the rest of the crew together on the gravdeck, I will speak with them in a few.”
“On it sir!”
“After that I will have a talk with the prisoners that we do have.”

On the gravdeck. “OK, so let’s start off I am Cho-sa Westfield and by order of Sho-sho Saganami and the power vested in her by the DCA I now have command of this vessel.” He looks at the crew. “I know most of you had no idea that most of the senior of and some of the other officers are members of the Kokuryu-kai.” Checking the reaction of the crew. “We know that these officers and crew were not working for the good of the Dragon. We know they are working for selfish reasons and goals. The Dragon wants you to know that it is no fault of yours what they were doing and that your loyalty is apparent in your service to date.” Opening his arms to all of the crew. “We … All of us will now put this fine ship back in the true service of Dragon.”

In the brig. “You all know that you have dishonored your oath to the Dragon and that by doing this act you also dishonor your families. Think of this as you serve out you prison time.” Looking over all of them. “You will soon be transported to a local prison to serve your time for your dishonor. You will find that the local people do not like those who do not have honor.” Looking over every one of them. “Also notice that the ones that were in charge made sure they got off the ship.”

“Get a message to the Sho-sho that the Winds of Heaven is back in the hands of the Dragon. The command crew jumped ship.”

“My boys are your major firepower why are you sending us on this.”
“You are under my employ you do not ask why, you do what and when I tell you. Now get you pilots moving. You do not get to question me.”
“This better be worth it.”
“What was that sellsword? You don’t like working here. You more than free to work for others, OH wait you have to work for me because of your many problems you made. NOW, get your people moving.”
“Talking that way will buy you many problems.”
“I have a big bank account. I also have other assets to deal with problems. Now if you want off the rock that can happen but only if you keep them safe. You just may get off this rock when they do. You may also have fewer problems. I do pay very well after all but you have to work hard also.”

“YO boss two reports that the new one just went into a shop on the south side.”
“Is he still alone?”
“Best they can tell.”
“OK have two see how long he stays ….. NO have two bug out now.”
“Wait what.”
“Get them out now. They’re getting setup.”
“One to two bug out now.”
“We are out now as well. Dam I feel like a nub. Getting played like this.”
“How, you think they are on to us?”
“Sure, not the old guard they’ve been on world for some time and have not been a problem for us. This new one …. is going to so be a problem I just feel it.”
