Well, in the TRO 3058 upgrade was a Tank mentioned, which I find very interesting. A Fedsuns technician came into possession of a vedette and a 300 rated XL Engine which he made fit to work into the tank. Then he upgraded Armor and Weapons of the Vedette.

So how did he upgrade it? That is what this challenge is for. Design a Vedette Tank. Only restriction is it has an 300 XL. So a movement profile of 6/9. From that you are completely free to design your own Doris Delight..

The most simple upgrade, without changing the turret weight is:

- double the armor in all locations (standard armor)
- remove the AC/5 and replace it for 1 PPC and 1 SRM6 with 1 ton of ammo
- the remaining 3 tons and space provided by the smaller engine can be used for an infantry compartment able to carry 1 foot platoon

It becomes a quick fast scout vehicle and infantry carrier.

-Swap armor by 9.5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous and put 38 Front/Turret, 32 sides and 30 rear.
-Replace all the weaponry by a PPC and TAG on turret, and add C3 Slave, Active Probe and Angel ECM suite on the body.
-Finally, add FULLY AMPHIBIOUS chassis mod and enjoy effective 3/4 move on the shores.

It would be the company's eyes and ears, as well as able to surprise the enemy who think that it can't cross the water.

So he changed the Turret weight too?

My own idea was to copy the clan enyo. Which means using a PPC and SSRM 4 in the turret and two SSRM 4 up front. Or a snub nose PPC along with three normal SRM 6.
