Scorpion/Vedette crossover

It seems that 34tons is the optimum tonnage for a faster version of the ubiquitous Scorpion, but cheaper than a Vedette.

Overview
Scorpion II is a crossover between the original Scorpion Light Tank and the Vedette Medium Tank, using the same turret and armament of the first in a slightly larger hull and engine. The speed and mobility is similar to the Vedette with similar armor protection. With 34tons is is much lighter than the Vedette and only 9tons heavier and slightly more expensive than the Scorpion.

That's more than alright, it's useful. Very much a light and speedy tank in the vein of the IRL Stingray II and not that much less protected than the Vedette. I'll take two lances.

34tons is about the weight of soviet main battle tanks like the T-55 and T-62.

I don't like the AC/5 but for IntroTech circa 3025, it is what is available.

One possibility is to use retrotech Heavy Rifle cannons (same weight but only 6 shots per ton of ammo). It makes 9 damage but you have to reduce the damage by 3 against BAR 10 standard armor (still 6 instead of 5 dmg).

I like it, even though I'm not a big fan of lasers on ICE units

Only objection I have is the SRM/MG on the IFV variant. Removing both in favor of a LRM5 would be more useful IMHO.
